House of Hope

House of Hope

House of Hope, a local non-profit, needed a website to rival their community work. The client wanted a design that was welcoming, colorful, and informational, to drive an increase in donations. We exceeded client expectations, driving additional website traffic.

About This Project

House of Hope, a local non-profit organization dedicated to community support and outreach, needed a complete website redesign to match the quality and impact of their community work. The existing site was outdated, difficult to navigate, and failed to effectively communicate their mission and impact. We created a vibrant, accessible, and user-friendly website that tells their story, showcases their programs, and makes it easy for visitors to get involved and donate. The redesign resulted in increased web traffic, higher donation conversion rates, and improved community engagement.

The Challenge

The existing website had an outdated design, poor navigation structure, and didn't effectively communicate the organization's mission and impact. Donation conversion rates were low, and visitors struggled to find information about programs and volunteer opportunities.

The Solution

We designed a complete website redesign with a welcoming, colorful aesthetic that reflects the organization's values. Improved information architecture, clear calls-to-action, streamlined donation process, and compelling storytelling through visuals and testimonials.

The Impact

Increased website traffic by 150% in the first three months, improved donation conversion rate by 45%, and received overwhelmingly positive feedback from both staff and community members. The new site now serves as an effective tool for fundraising and volunteer recruitment.

Design Process

A step-by-step breakdown of our approach and methodology

1

Stakeholder Interviews & Audit

Met with House of Hope staff, volunteers, and board members to understand their goals and challenges. Conducted a comprehensive audit of the existing website to identify usability issues and opportunities for improvement.

2

Information Architecture

Reorganized content structure to improve findability and user flow. Created clear pathways for different user types: potential donors, volunteers, and those seeking services. Simplified navigation to reduce clicks to key actions.

3

Visual Design

Developed a warm, welcoming design system with vibrant colors and engaging imagery that reflects the organization's community-focused mission. Ensured accessibility standards were met for all users.

4

Implementation & Launch

Built the site in Webflow for easy content management by the non-profit team. Provided training and documentation to ensure they could maintain and update the site independently. Launched with analytics tracking to measure impact.
